Some of our couples travel far and wide to have a Rocky Mountain wedding! We absolutely love that we have such a stunning backdrop right in our backyard. Check out some of our favorite mountain weddings.

A mountain top wedding on a ski slope, this couple gave their guests a venue to remember. Guests arrived on a ski lift and gathered for a ceremony overlooking the surrounding Rocky Mountains. The bride and groom's love for art and turned into a beautiful painting performed at the ceremony and guest got to contribute to the painting as well. Cigars and drinks were enjoyed during cocktail hour and then guests gathered inside a beautiful bright room to laugh and share memories. The dessert table was a gathering of tasty cakes. And the band had the room rocking and rolling right after dinner.

A fall wedding overlooking the continental divide and Rocky Mountains guests were wowed by this beautiful ceremony site. Arriving by ski lift guests wandered through aspen trees to take their seats. Prayers and blessings encompassed the couple as they got ready at the top of the mountain. Sage green adorned the wedding party and the tables were dressed in soft green garlands. The dessert table was to die for with mini cupcakes of all flavors piled up on different height displays. The couple danced the night away surrounded by laughter and love.

This mountain top elopement is inspired by the warm elements only furs, leathers and a mountain top lodge could capture. Playing with flannel, knits, and wool, we layered our textures to make this styled shoot warm and snuggle-y. A basket of gloves and a pile of blankets for guests to bundle up with and the grooms wore custom made scarfs in their wedding colors. The stationery tied in the hunting feel of the lodge and the centerpieces had antler details. The naked cake piled high with berries. The table set with slate tile chargers and copper mugs to cheers with.

Inspired by the timeless children's story "Where the Wild Things Are". We twisted this fantastic tale into a love story that would tame any wild thing. Some of our favorite details are the custom crowns for Max and his wild thing. We utilized quotes from the story throughout our shoot. In such a colorful shoot we went all white for our cake, with each layer representing the texture of a different wild thing like feathers, claw marks, fur. We made sure Max's room turned into "the world all around" him by building a bedroom in the middle of the woods! We utilized it as his groom's getting ready space. We had a gorgeous hand made feather and snakeskin bow tie to continue to tie in the wild things. And things got crazy when we decided to put our reception table in the middle of a river!
